Camp Description:I am not sure we found this exact campsite, but can comment on the trek into this south fork of the laurentz river. We followed a small creek down from the Mt Manuel ridge, and then walked ~1 mile up the river. It was winter, so vegetation was lush and thick. We eventually found a grassy knob that had some flat spots, and we needed to stop and make a fire before the rain came in.

On our way out, we opted to get up the saddle that connects Mt Manuel ridge to Kandlbinder. Early ascent was easy enough, steep hillside with small vegetation. Traversing higher we found great difficulty as the ridge became densely covered in burnt manzanitas, madrones and other bushes. Crumbling rocks encouraged us to depart the ridge and follow the a grassy contour to the south, then we ran into Mt Manuel trail. This was a failed attempt at getting to the window, the rain was disheartening!

Camp Description:This is considered a "Lost Camp."  The trail to the site is lost also.  Only way to reach it is via some very harsh bushwacking.
