Trail description:Trail is in great condition, except for a slide onto the trail about 1/2 mile before the white ledge turnoff.  It's about 10 feet across, but easily passable by bike or foot, however it might be a challenge for a vehicle.  The 1st stream crossing is about 6-12 inches and the 2nd is about 1 ft.

Sisar Canyon - Forest Rd 4N15 2 Survey - 3-13-2017 - by Los Padres Forest Association
Link: Sisar Canyon - Forest Rd 4N15 2
Date: 3-13-2017
Surveyor Name:Los Padres Forest Association
Trail description:Report by D. Jackson:

Sisar Canyon: The road section of this trail that closely follows the creek is showing a lot of ruts and debris fall onto the road. Just past the turnoff to the Howell Place at approx. 34° 27’ 58.36N, 119° 07’ 34.78 W ….there is a fall of fine debris (soil and very small rock/gravel) and is blocking the road….and would be near impossible for a USFS truck to get through.  Just a few hundred yards further….the road leaves the creek and gradually improves, the higher up you go towards the Red Reef Trail (to Whiteledge CG) the better it gets.

Trail description:Parking at the top of sisar Rd by the water tank is now blocked by a large gate and fence. There is a sign saying the gate will be locked in March of 2017. You will no longer be able to drive up the dirt road to the national Forest boundary and there is now very little parking at the end of the paved road.
Mode of transport:Bicycle
