The Middle Santa Ynez Gate is located on the far down-canyon side of Middle Santa Ynez Campground along the Romero Camuesa Road.  

There are a bunch of gates in this area that can or cannot be open depending on the time of year, breeding season of sensitive species and amount of rain that has fallen.  If this gate is closed, you cannot get to P Bar, Mono or Indian Creek without either walking or mountain biking the road.
