Description:

Villa Creek Camp is located along the Buckeye Trail just north of the intersection with the Cruikshank Trail.  The camp is tucked in deep drainage amongst towering redwood trees and mature maples beside the reliable Villa Creek. A spur trail leads from the Buckeye Trail steeply down to camp. Expect much cooler temperatures here than just a half-mile south at Upper Cruikshank Camp, as about 300 feet of elevation separate the camps.

There is a use camp on the south side of Villa Creek where it is crossed by the Buckeye Trail. Fallen redwoods and its location in the floodplain of Villa Creek make this unofficial camp dangerous and it should not be used, especially with rain in the forecast.
