Turner Creek Camp Survey - 01-12-1970 - by Troop 97 BSA Monterey Ca.
Link: Turner Creek Camp
Date: 01-12-1970
Surveyor Name:Troop 97 BSA Monterey Ca.
Camp Description: There is alot of cliffs and rock formations here to repel off and go rock climbing. There was no water here but it is a nice camp. If you go exploring the north side of the rocks, you may stumble upon the "Amplitheater" or "Indian Cave", where the indians held court. It is a natural rock formation shaped like a half circle with two rock podiums in the center. A short one and a tall one. About a hundred folks can sit up in the cave high and dry facing the two rock podiums below. Great place for a campfire.
