Description:

Middle Santa Ynez Camp is located along the Romero Camuesa Rd about 75minutes outside of Santa Barbara.  The camp is just past the Caliente Creek crossing once you pass the Pendola Ranger Station.  It is a large campground with over a dozen campsites, each with table and nearby toilet.  The Romero Camuesa Rd does shut down if wet weather is in the forecast.

Camp Description:Per previous post instructions, I looked up & down stream a bit (not thoroughly), couldn't find any water. There is water at Juncal, and up the road towards Big Caliente.

Even though the road has been closed since the Thomas fire (I think?), the campsites were weed-whacked and the bathroom (such as it is) had plenty of TP.  Beautiful campground all to our (biking) selves.
