McKinley Spring - San Rafael Mountain Survey - 08-23-2017 - by Nate
Link: McKinley Spring - San Rafael Mountain
Date: 08-23-2017
Surveyor Name:Nate
Camp Description:Nothing really special about this camp as far as being a camping destination, but it is the only place to get water before getting to the Mckinley Saddle. This camp is about 8 miles from the Cachuma Saddle. It has some shade and tons of flies, two tables and a fire pit. A warning, as there are plenty of rattlesnakes between here and Mission Pine Springs
Water Source:Trickle
Water Source Details:There is plenty of clean, clear water here, helped by several storage containers
Weather Conditions:Hot and dry 93
