Date: 06-09-2020
Surveyor Name:Jess Haas
Camp Description:The spring itself is hard to access. Go down stream a little way and you can climb down to the slowly moving creek. I filled up here on my way in. Lots of poison oak and a shallow murky stream make it not the most ideal source so if you aren't in dire need for water might be better off getting it from alder creek.
Water Source:Trickle
Water Source Details:Slow consistant trickle

Dripping Springs Survey - 07-03-2016 - by "Oh Three"
Link: Dripping Springs
Date: 07-03-2016
Surveyor Name:"Oh Three"
Camp Description:If you scrape all the scuz out of this stagnant pool, wait 30 minutes, put extra coffee filters over your pre-filter, and really know what you're doing with your pump, you *might* not clog your water filter.

Or you could ignore Cow Springs, stay thirsty, and walk the 3 miles back to your car at Dough Flats.

Going west, the next water past Cow Springs is below Shady Camp. It's clear and free flowing.
