Description:

Bluff Spring is located in the Los Padres National Forest. The spring is on the Los Machos Hills Topo Map, If you have recently visited this spring, please give us some feed back on the water quality.

Water Source:Dry
Water Source Details:No water in creek by campground, maybe one gross stagnant seep that bears are pooping in. Water from FS Tank is non-potable meaning not for drinking plus it is not accessible anyway. Hopefully we get some rain and a decent snow pack this winter to replenish this spring.

Camp Description:Jeep way from Santa Barbara Canyon to the Sierra Madre connector is great, and the route to Bluff is open with no issues, just some sections that are a bit roughed up after the dozer went through....Buckhorn jeep way from Bluff towards Upper Oso is closed due to rocks down about 1/2 out of Bluff camp.

Water Source Details:Spring behind Bluff is more than a trickle and lightly flowing, as were the Springs on top of West Big Pine...
