Description:

Valley View Camp is located up the Pratt Trail a few miles above Ojai.  While the camp is close in proximity to Ojai, it can feel like you're in a different continent once you arrive in camp.  The camp is visited mostly by dayhikers and doesn't see a lot of overnight traffic.  There is a fire ring at camp.

Camp Description:Nice campsite, well established. Clearings for 3 or 4 tents, maybe more up further. Log benches for seating all around official fire ring. Sufficient firewood scattered around. There's a shovel stashed in a hollow tree. Listening to the frogs at night was a nice treat :) I was coming down from Nordhoff Peak and almost missed the turn off the trail, it would be easier to see coming up the trail.
Water Source:Flowing
Water Source Details:Lots of water flowing in the stream, forms a nice pool near camp.
Weather Conditions:Shady evening, maybe 60F overnight, pleasant.
